The PPP

The following is part of an online chat I had at work yesterday with a good friend of mine. It was a typical exchange. He works at Pixar.

me: did you help work on wall-e in any way shape or form?
(talking to girl about wall-e so it would be a lot cooler if you did)

AC: haha no i didn’t :(
but you can tell her i did, if it helps you get laid :)

(Well his name is not really AC. Unlike me though, he doesn’t enjoy putting embarrassing stuff about himself online that 99% of the population will get offended by. He made me edit that part.)

Man. Pixar Pussy Pass? I was laughing so hard I nearly fell out of my chair. No doubt my manager heard me laughing hysterically again. Not good. For some reason he thinks that chatting online, laughing hysterically, and almost falling out of office furniture is not conducive to software engineering.

(Incidentally, a few months ago my manager told me that he found my blog online and started reading it. Holy shit. Talk about embarrassing. He’s like, a nice, normal guy. I didn’t even know what to say. I gave him a nervous laugh and told him I was just trying to be creative.

Yeah, that’s it. I’m just trying to put the capitol “cw” in Creative Writing. I made all this shit up.)

(Incidentally, manager if you are reading this then uh, bummer. I tried to make my blog more boring so that you would stop reading it. Then I tried to make it more offensive. Obviously that didn’t work if you’re on this paragraph. My bad for talking about the Pixar Pussy Pass at work.)

    Dude, you’re fucking cracking me up at this point. Between the PPP and the boss stuff, I’m just laughing.

    The generational difference about posting the details of your life…er…your creative writing exploits is interesting.

    Man, this is great. I wonder how you’ll top yourself next time. I guess the only way would be to have some crazy exploits in Vegas :)
