I didn’t used to understand the phrase, “dirty thirties.” It sounded weird.
Well, until I turned 30 last year in Las Vegas.
I’m proud to say that within one year I have experienced just about every way possible for a human being to be dirty, figuratively and literally.
Anyways, this Friday, Februrary 20th from 8 p.m. I will celebrate my birthday in Berkeley. It will be at a place called Beckett’s. Here are some directions to Beckett’s from Las Vegas.
Anyone who reads this blog (or doesn’t read this blog) is welcome. No RSVP needed. I would love it if some of the regular commenters on here got a chance to meet each other. Just show up and look for me at the bar.

Also, few people know this, but my sister and I actually have the same birthday. We’re exactly 10 years apart. So, it’s my sister’s 21st birthday this Friday, and she’ll also be there.

Although that pic is quite enticing I’ll have to miss it.
This is treatment week for me (Wed-Fri) and I’ll be wiped out by Friday. I will however drink a shot of Jack (or 20) and listen to some metal in honor of your 31st.

oh i know where Beckett’s is. Too bad I’ll miss it Ian. It’s too far. I’ll ask my mom if she’d like to meet you, though. She’s a lot closer.
