Ross got me one of those sweet Flip Video cameras for my birthday. I figured the best way to thank the man was to sneak into his room late at night and freak him out with my skeleton mask. Unfortunately, he wasn’t asleep. One thing the camera does quite well is film in low light.

Which Spam Is “Best?”
February 24th, 2009 · 3 Comments · Favorites, Humor, Reviews
It was February, 2009. It was not a long time ago. I was discussing the finer things in life. Like Spam. Or wait. I’m not sure how Spam came up. But there was an Italian guy there. He asked a very Italian question. “What is Spam?” “That is a very Italian question,” I said. “Yes. [...]

Motley Crue Vs. Ratt, The Most Unneeded Review Ever Written
February 11th, 2009 · 9 Comments · Reviews
My buddy was suffering from a lack of confidence with regard to women. I set out to help him. With the goal of compiling the ultimate motivational album, I created something borderline irresponsible: a CD containing the first four major releases from both Motley Crue and Ratt. My friend began listening to the CD and [...]

80s Metal For Coke Addicts III: The Ratt Album “Out of the Cellar”
July 16th, 2008 · 4 Comments · Reviews
It’s 1984. Again. Hypothetically, I mean. And hypothetically, your girlfriend has just left you. You try getting coked out of your mind. It doesn’t help. You grow your mullet longer. It doesn’t work. Prozac hasn’t even been invented yet and there’s no such thing as Viagra. What’s a badboy like you supposed to do at [...]

80s Metal For Coke Addicts II: All Songs On The Album “Defenders Of The Faith”
June 10th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Humor, Reviews
For Judas Priest’s Defenders Of The Faith, we’re going back to the ultimate year of 80s metal, or well, 80s anything: 1984. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTIC You can’t tell a book by it’s cover, but you can tell an 80s metal record by it’s jacket. What sort of faith does this rip-off Voltron have? Does he have [...]

The Real Thing
May 23rd, 2008 · 9 Comments · Favorites, Humor, Reviews
[WARNING: The images in the post are definitely NSFW.] Last Sunday I was close to the SFO airport. That’s all I’m going to tell you for free. Oh yeah, and I was in a store with stacks of used vinyls, VHS tapes, and other things random. I found a retro issue of “CHOPPER” magazine. “THE [...]

80s Metal For Coke Addicts I: Kiss Of Death
May 13th, 2008 · 1 Comment · Reviews
Most people have never even heard of the German metal band Dokken, let alone the song Kiss Of Death. That’s too bad. This live version on youtube is over the top, even by 80s standards. It’s so over the top that it has Spanish subtitles. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTIC This song features a coked up guitar riff [...]

Grand Theft Auto IV Is Violent, But It’s Also Fucking Funny And Has A Point
May 9th, 2008 · 1 Comment · Reviews
I bought GTA IV on the first night it came out. The GTA series is usually portrayed as interactive gang life that’s full of utter mayhem. This recent GTA IV trailer from Rockstar Games is an example of what I’m talking about. Well, that’s part of it. But what is not portrayed enough is how [...]
